It's interesting that they renamed the HSMM-Mesh to hamnet. Germany/Europe uses that name.. they have had an extensive network for several years: ... r_Backbone ... Itemid=245#

Looks like the Swedish & Canadians have had GRE tunneling working through BBHN Mesh nodes :
